The redundant R22 Carrier chiller, complete with acoustic shroud, was dismantled and removed from a ground level site, and replaced with two Aermec twin circuit chillers, with a total cooling capacity of 280 kilowatts, complete with internal primary pumps and buffer vessels. The project also required the removal of a brick built pump enclosure and the replacement of the secondary valves on the low loss header.

The extensive runs of external pipework, serving various air handling plant rooms, were stripped of their old insulation, and then replaced with all new insulation, trace heating, and aluminium cladding throughout.
The new, low noise chillers did not require any additional acoustic treatment.

We then installed replaced two roof-based Daikin chillers with Aermec units.
